Reorganisation of a German Health Care Fund
The client had high administrative costs, processes needed to be streamlined to increase quality and cycle time, and several health management projects had to be embodied in the organisation.
The old organisation was mapped in an activity analysis and was internally benchmarked.
Afterwards, the client’s main business processes were determined, and the new organisational units were defined along these processes. Dimensioning of the organisational units took place based on the activity analysis and benchmarking results.
After nomination of the new department heads and staffing of the organisation, a detailed process redesign took place.
Overall, the project resulted in a highly efficient and focused organisation.
