After a merger of two automotive suppliers, the client wanted to combine its central functions.
The old organisation was mapped in an activity analysis and internally benchmarked.
Afterwards, the main business processes of the client were identified, and the new organisational units were defined along these processes. Dimensioning of the organisational units took place based on the activity analysis, benchmarking results, and rough optimisation quick fixes.
After nominating the new department heads and staffing the organisation, a detailed process redesign took place.
